Таким образом, за последние 11 лет Сара работала на 15 кинопроектах. 5 проектов с коммерческой точки зрения провалились. Из них: 1 не вышел в прокат вовсе (Suburban Girl), 3 выходили в ограниченный прокат (Harvard Man, Southland Tales и The Air I Breathe), еще 1 выйдя в прокат, в прокате провалился (Simply Irresistible). При этом Harvard Man, Southland Tales и The Air I Breathe, в прокате, пусть даже ограниченном, были чисто формально - демонстрируясь соответственно в 7, 63 и 4 кинозалах. Simply Irresistible, также, вместо нормального проката (в Штатах это примерно 2500 залов), вышел лишь в 1359 залах.
Из 10 оставшихся успешных проектов, 2 (The Return и Happily Never After) еле-еле переползли финишную черту, едва отбив потраченные деньги, остальные 8 (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2, Cruel Intentions, Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo 2, The Grudge, The Grudge 2, TMNT ) хорошо, либо очень хорошо прошли в прокате, собрав денег заметно больше, либо намного больше чем на них потратили. Всего же в кинопрокате сарины фильмы собрали $627,388,241.
Таким образом, по крайней мере с коммерческой точки зрения, СМГ вполне успешная киноактриса.

Одной из бывших потенциалок видимо нечем заняться и она уже третий день трепется с фанами на imdb-вской доске.



Девушка она, как выяснилось, весьма адекватная и с чувством юмора:

The answer is no. She was real cool. She, and the rest of the cast, really welcomed us "Potentials" and made us feel like family. :-).

Об отношениях в коллективе:
I know this is going to sound like a load of crap but, I actually don't have any dirt on anybody. Lol. If there were any internal issues with any of the series regulars, we never saw it...
...Like I said before, if there was any tension we never witnessed any of it. So from my perspective I am being truthful when I say that I don't have any juicy stories. And while I'm not into gossip, and wouldn't share any of that kind of stuff anyway, it doesn't stem from any kind of loyalty to a particular show.

СМГ и любимая сцена:
My favorite scenes were all of the ones where we got to fight. We spent so much of the first group of episodes being lectured. Lol. Even SMG made a joke about it all. She said she felt like we were filming one continuous scene b/c she was giving us the same speech to us in every episode. Lol. I can't say that I had a "favorite person" to work with but SMG was pretty cool. She liked to joke around. The stunt actors were nice too.

...Sarah was absolutely impressive though. She would pick up the choreography so quickly and she always had a ton of stuff to do. She'd run stuff a few times and then be ready to shoot. I guess, after 7 years, it became easy for her.

...Sarah was cool; had a silly sense of humor. I remember this one time when her husband was out of town, she wanted to know if she should play a prank on him and hide his brand new motorcycle under a truck to make it seem like it was stolen. Lol. We told her that, although it would be funny, it might make him mad b/c he'd really be worried initially. I don't think she ever did it.

Eliza was cool too and yes, that is her real voice. Lol.

Джеймс Марстерс и Тони Хэд:
James was a sweetie pie. :-). As far as I could tell, he never showed up drunk to work. Off topic a bit but, he also looked very good for his age. A lot of us kind of developed crushes on him. Tony was quite smoldering too. That surprised all of us. Lol.

Ник Брендон:
I don't recall any of the cast poking fun at Nick about his weight but, what was funny was that his identical twin brother Kelly was his body double and there was a noticeable difference in their sizes. Lol. Kelly's hair was also shorter than Nick's, a lighter shade of brown and styled completely different so, it was funny when they'd be filming a scene that required a stunt and they'd yell "Cut!" and insert Kelly in Nick's place. Lol. Outside of the scenes you could see they were twins but, when having to believe that they were the same guy, it was kind of comical to witness the "transition" up close during the filming. We'd always chuckle.

Alyson's real cool. :-). I remember the night we wrapped the final episode, she invited everyone to this bar that was up the street from the studio and picked up the tab for all of us. That was very sweet of her I thought. She also got into the knitting craze, thanks to Felicia Day.

В майском выпуске американского Instyle опубликован краткий отчет о благотворительной поездке СМГ в Танзанию в марте этого года. Поездка осуществлялась в рамках сотрудничества СМГ и благотворительной организации CARE. (проще говоря CARE демонстрировала Саре на что тратятся ее деньги).

Один плюс в этой жаре - по улицам толпами шляются полуодетые женщины. Но даже это уже не радует.

То жара дикая , то потоп страшный. Включайте уже свой коллайдер. Надоело.

Оп-па, Харизма-то наша Карпентер таки развелась. И еще и алименты бывшему мужу теперь будет платить, фигасе.


Charisma Carpenter Hammers Home Divorce

Charisma Carpenter's marriage is no more.
A judge signed off last week on the former Angel star's divorce from hubby Damian Hardy, officially ending their five-year union.
The duo tied the knot, with a prenuptial agreement, Oct. 5, 2000. Carpenter filed for the split Aug. 2, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.
Per the judgment, the actress and Hardy will share physical and legal custody of their 5-year-old son, Donovan Charles Hardy, and Carpenter is required to pay her ex $6,000 for attorneys' fees and $300 per month in child support.
The former lovebirds will care for Donovan on alternate holidays and get two weeks apiece of vacation time.
In December, Carpenter filed court papers detailing her so-called dire financial straits thanks to the writers' strike, which was in full swing at the time, and her fear of a possible Screen Actors Guild strike (which, theoretically, could still happen).
Things have continued to be a little slow for the actress since her one-off guest appearance last year on the now-defunct Back to You and a three-episode arc on the since-canceled ABC drama Big Shots.
But we doubt the powers that be will leave the onetime Playboy poser without an outlet for all that sex appeal for long.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: SACRIFICE ANNOUNCED FOR NINTENDO DS
Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s final television airing might have been as far back as 2003 (disregarding the repeats since, of course), but the popularity of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s cult kick-ass character is still strong. To capitalise on this, 505 Games has announced a deal with Warner Bros. to bring Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sacrifice to the Nintendo DS.
Currently being worked on by Romanian development studio Beast, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sacrifice mixes third and first-person action to provide what 505 Games promises is “like nothing else on the Nintendo DS.” Based on the original story by Rob Deshotel, the title sees player taking control of Buffy as she attempts to seal the re-opened Hellmouth.

Described as a 3D horror title, over 20 weapons will be at Buffy’s disposal as she disposes of vampires and demons, and she’ll also be hooking up with famous characters such as Spike, Angel, the Master, the First Evil, Caleb, and the Scooby Gang.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for 505 Games and we’re working extremely closely with Fox to ensure this is the definitive Buffy the Vampire Slayer experience,” said Rowan Tafler, Global Brand Manager, 505 Games. “Buffy’s return to videogames is great for long-time fans of the franchise and we hope the huge market reach of the Nintendo DS will help to create new fans too.”
Elie Dekel, Executive Vice President Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising added, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a franchise that continues to excite people around the world. Although there are no new productions of the series there is an enduring legacy that lives on through syndication, comic books and video games like these. We’re sure DS players are going to love this version.”

Key features:

* Play as Buffy the Vampire Slayer through 24 levels using a third person camera.
* Unlock and use more than 20 types of unique Slayer weapons.
* Fight more than 12 different level bosses and sub-bosses, including First Evil, the boss of all bosses.
* Play “Challenge Mode” in first-person for fast-paced action and an increased difficulty level.
* Solve puzzle missions to unlock new areas.
* Collect spells to increase Buffy’s supernatural and physical abilities.
