His dream was already ruined by studio executives but then he didn't have us, he didn't have the team of writers we became so fond of, or the actors.
Now there's a movie coming out that Joss Whedon doesn't approve of and we owe it to him after years upon years of entertainment to show our support.

I don't owe Joss a damned thing. I'm not going to see the movie, but not because of him. The story couldn't be worse than the Twilight-ripoff crap he's spewed out in his comic books.
